Single, out-of-contract lessons are great for students who (1) just need a handful of lessons to prepare for an audition or performance, (2) for students who are on the EM Vocal Studio waiting list for a particular spot, but want to get a head start, (3) for current members of EM Vocal Studio who want to do a few extra lessons for any reason, or (4) students who are interested in joining EM Vocal Studio, but, for whatever reason, aren’t ready to commit to a regular lesson time. Single, out-of-contract lessons are not a good option for students looking for long-term growth.

Price:

$80 per hour

Scheduling and Payment:

Lessons may be scheduled no more than one week in advance. A lesson is officially scheduled when the student and instructor have agreed on a day and time, and the instructor has received $80 through one of the following online locations:

Student Cancellation:

Absolutely no refunds are given for student cancellation. Please understand, tuition pays for time to be reserved. It is the student’s responsibility to take advantage of the time he/she has purchased. Make-up lessons are not an option for single lessons.

Instructor Cancellation/Studio Closure:

Instructor cancellations will result in a full refund.

Tardiness:

Lessons will end at their scheduled time, regardless of the student’s time of arrival. Similarly, if the student arrives early for his/her lesson, the instructor is not obligated to begin the lesson until the scheduled lesson time. Please note, if the student’s lesson is the first lesson of the day, and the student is early to his/her lesson, the studio may not yet be open for the day. The instructor will always be ready to open the studio and begin the lesson at the scheduled time.
